Come and join us at our 12th annual Community Christmas Event.

Dec. 3rd, 2016

9 am – 1 pm

In the heart of the Saanichton Village

We start at 9am with Pancake Breakfast with Santa at St. Mary’s Church.  Here you can have your photo taken with Santa at the breakfast with a donation to the food bank. Courtesy of the Central Saanich Lions Club.

After breakfast you can take the family over to Pioneer Square for the Christmas Winter Market.  There will be music provided by Knackers Yard.
At the Winter Market you will find Local Crafters, artisans, bakers and food producers all selling their wares.
Our local Girl Guide Troop will be collecting food donations to help benefit the Sidney Lions Food Bank.
Decorate Gingerbread Men at the Saanich Pioneer Museum.  Sit and enjoy the big fire and all the local history surrounding you
You can take a horse drawn carriage ride through the village or you can walk the Christmas Tree Trail with a map.  Check out all the local business that have entered the Christmas Tree contest.  You get to vote on the best decorated tree.
The Christmas Tree Trail is a fun event as you are given a map of the village and you visit the local businesses that have decorated their trees for you to vote on the best decorated tree.  You get your map stamped at each business and you may even find a nice little treat awaiting you.

Be sure to mark your calendars and bring your whole family to this Christmas event.  The Lions pancake breakfast is a minimul cost which is concidered a donation towards the food bank.  Drop off your donations to the Sidney Lions Food Bank.  Get free coffee, Christmas Cookies, Tree Trail Map, lots of music but best of all you get to spend quality time with your family.

For many families this has now become a Christmas tradition as there always seems to be guest appearances with Christmas Elves, Rudolph and of course Santa!
