ATTENTION SAANICHTON RESIDENTS!

The Central Saanich Little League invites the community to a FREE outdoor screening of the classic baseball flick THE SANDLOT under the stars.

Date: Saturday Aug. 18th

Place: Centennial Park / 1809 Hovey Rd. Saanichton

Time: The Show starts after sunset (8:25pm). Please arrive early for best seating space.

Bring your picnic blanket or your chairs to stake your place on the grass!

Central Saanich Lions Club will be hosting a BBQ, the concession will be open and popcorn for sale!

All funds raised will be donated to the new indoor training facility to be built at Centennial.

Supported by the Saanichton Village Association, Brentwood Bay Community Association and the Central Saanich Lions.

MOVIE: THE SANDLOT
(1993/Family Comedy/101 mins/G): When Scottie Smalls (Thomas Guiry) moves to a new neighborhood, he manages to make friends with a group of kids who play baseball at the sandlot. Together they go on a series of funny and touching adventures. The boys run into trouble when Smalls borrows a ball from his stepdad that gets hit over a fence.
