Join us for a fantastic family event and help raise much-needed funds and food for families in need this holiday season!
For a (minimum) $40 donation, one of our beautiful draft horses will escort you on a private carriage ride through the Saanichton Village! Sing your favorite holiday songs, or simply relax and listen to the sound of historic sleigh bells and the rhythmic footfalls of your horse..
This event also includes opportunities to:
- Have breakfast and photos with Santa
- Decorate Christmas cookies!
- WIN one of 20 plush Clydesdale horses!
Departure point: Central Saanich Municipal Hall (1903 Mount Newton Cross Road, Saanichton, BC, V8M 2A9).
Free parking on site. There are no washroom facilities on site.
The SVA, with the continued support of the local businesses of Saanichton VIllage, and Seaside Magazine are pleased to bring you the 20th Annual Saanichton Community Christmas on December 7th, 2024.
We are counting on our Community Partners, old and new, to help us bring a little Christmas joy to those less fortunate this time of the year.
This years festivities included:
* Christmas horse-drawn carriage rides through Saanichton Village, Tally-Ho Carriage Tours.
* Pancake breakfast by donation to the Food Bank hosted by the Central Saanich Lions Club
* Photos with Santa and cookie boxes for all the kids.
* Follow the Christmas Tree Trail. Visit each of the local businesses along the trail.
