Heritage Week (February 18–24) @ the Log Cabin Museum in Saanichon Green. The theme this year is “Good Neighbours – Heritage Homes & Neighbourhoods” and the displays will run February 18 to 24, 2013. People often think of ‘heritage’ as simply old ornate houses, but established and stable neighbourhoods also make an important contribution to the community. There are various ‘neighbourhoods’ in Central Saanich, and it is intended to effectively showcase them during Heritage Week. The public is invited to visit and view this exhibit. Museum open February 18–24, noon – 3pm daily.
