Second Annual Spaghetti Dinner
November 9th / 2016
6 to 9 p.m
St. Mary’s Church
This delicious event happens on Wednesday November 9th from 6 to 9 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church, located on the corner of Cultra Ave. and East Saanich Rd. Tickets are $12 each
“Getting the community together over a warm meal does wonders for the neighbourly spirit and fabric of the community, which is why the Saanichton Village Association put this event together”, notes Jim Townley, President of the SVA. “We look forward to getting people out of their homes in the fall to talk and share their stories of summer.”
The SVA cordially invites their Brentwood neighbours to attend this community event.
The spaghetti dinner will offer a vegetarian or gluten free option and and of course good old fashion regular meatballs for the carnivores, a small green salad with Fresh Cup Café’s famous maple balsamic dressing, and delicious garlic bread. There will be treats and fruit for desert and of course our local Fresh Cup organic coffee which will be served as well as a couple of different tea options.
Proceeds of the event will go to St. Mary’s Church for hosting the event. Once again we will be treated to the great music of local musicians “Knacker’s Yard”.
“This is a no-theme event, people getting together, talking and enjoying good food is all that matters”, adds Martina Redman, SVA Treasurer. “My Girl Guide troop will be on-hand to help with the clean-up and table service as well”. Girl Guide Cookies will also be on sale if you happened to have missed out on door to door sales this year.
A true old fashion community meal will soon to be at hand, you don’t want to miss this event ! Last year we sold out rather quickly so make sure you purchase your tickets as soon as possible. Limited seating is available. Tickets on sale starting October 28
Tickets can be purchased at: Fresh Cup Café or The Old Attic in Saanichton.
