We know the media can bombard you these days with a list of things you shouldn’t eat and Gluten is one of those popular ‘buzz’ foods to avoid, however, ‘what if ‘ you ate less gluten because the ‘wheat-free’ option of something you frequently enjoyed tasted so good ?
Starting this past weekend, Fresh Cup is pleased to announce our new ‘PLUS’ line of ‘Wheat-Free’ muffins and bakery items. We will offer one wheat-free muffin choice each day. We just finished our wheat-free ‘Buckwheat-Flax-Espresso’ (using our real espresso) and are now moving on to either ‘Spiced Carrot-Zucchini’ or ‘Blueberry-Raspberry Lemon’. These are sooo…good and will fool even our most discerning muffin lovers, and trust me…there’s some pretty passionate Fresh Cup Muffin lovers out there !
Our NEW – ‘PLUS’ line will include a variety of baked goods, cookies (who hasn’t tried the Chocolate Hazelnut Chew?), squares, loafs, and a dazzling array of other wheat-free treats. Why the name ‘plus ?’…a few of the partners at Fresh Cup use this term when talking about food that tastes great AND is good for you. Who’s behind all of our new ‘PLUS’ line, well,…let me introduce you to Sarah Green, former Fresh Cup team member turned Pastry Chef.
Sarah joins Cathy, who takes care of our soups, panini’s and other tasty savouries in the cafe. Together, they will expand our line of healthy food options at Fresh Cup. We’ve posted Sarah’s Bio on the Fresh Cup BLOG…(yes), we’ve had a BLOG for a couple of months that we use to post new things and recent creations to keep our customers informed.
